TVR Racetrack Wedding Cake
Creating a wedding cake for Iain and Sarah was a pleasure from start to
finish. They came to see me following a
recommendation. They were planning a car
themed wedding with the reception being held at Haynes Motor
Museum. It was a large wedding so they needed a
substantial cake. Following an initial
consultation, where I sketched a few ideas, I finalised the design and created
for them a four tier racetrack in a combination of vanilla and rich fruit cake.
On the track was a model of their TVR, racing
from a building at the top of the cake to the finish line and chequered flag at
the base. The car sported a ‘Just
Married’ sign and with other details such as advertising boards, their names,
the car’s number plate and the date of the wedding, a totally unique and
personalised cake was created.
