Stacked Four Tier Wedding Cake
Stacked wedding cakes have become increasingly popular over the
last few years and allow for a variety of designs which would not be as
successful if the tiers were on a stand or separated.
Paul and Lou wanted a focal point for their reception which was simple but stunning at the same time. The cake needed to have some height as the wedding reception was held at Priston Mill Barn with its very high ceiling!
By using their colour scheme of purples and white and the heart motif I was able to create a four tier cake in a combination of carrot cake, chocolate and lemon sponge. The addition of the cake topper which I made from silver wire and shades of purple icing along with some strands of silver bear grass to catch the light enhanced the final design.
I was delighted to read the review that Paul and Lou posted
following their wedding:
“Christine's cake was both beautiful and delicious. Her help in designing it to fit with our colour scheme was brilliant and we felt really confident in her ability to deliver. Many of our guests commented on the quality of the cake, both its design and taste. I would not hesitate to recommend this company”.
