Salcombe 60th Birthday Cake
This is an
example of a 3D relief cake which I made for Sheree who ordered the cake to
celebrate her Mum’s 60th Birthday. The cake was a vanilla sponge
with buttercream and raspberry conserve. Sue has a special place that she loves
to visit in Salcombe and Sheree supplied me with some photographs so I was able
to create a very personal cake for her. The scene was 3D to the foreground and
with a hand painted estuary view in the background.
This is the
email I received from her:
“Just wanted to say a HUGE! Thank You for the fantastic cake, we all loved it & Mum was over the moon with it. Loads of people asked where we had it done so Thank You so much.
