Iced Magic 2008

Chris is once again busy this year helping to make her customers wedding and celebration dreams come true.

Iced Magic’s wedding cakes reached new heights this summer with Chris’s spectacular six tier creation which was so tall that when the time came to serve it the staff at the reception had to use a step to stand on to take it apart!

In contrast her colourful ‘Under the Sea’ wedding cake with all the fish species chosen by the bride and groom made a real splash with all the guests, and the happy couple who commented that “It was almost too beautiful to cut!”

Iced Magic’s novelty cakes are continuing to be as popular as ever and this year have included designs ranging from an Egyptian sarcophagus, to a designer handbag, a racing car and even a surgical kit!

Chris’s clients comments have included:

“The cake was beautiful and the attention to detail was amazing. I will undoubtedly be in touch again when the next occasion demandsa truly great cake”

“We would highly recommend your friendly and professional service”

“The cake was amazing and wonderful- almost too beautiful to cut! Many people commented how stunning, unusual and fantastically
decorated it was”

“A big thank you for our beautiful wedding cake. Not only did it look absolutely fantastic but tasted delightful! It was the focal point of our reception and we had lovely comments from our guests”

“Thank you for the lovely cake you made and for your efforts in making it such a wonderful day to remember. I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone”

Chris has recently taken part in two BBC television productions.

“The Great British Village Show”.

Did you see this Dragon cake on BBC 1 Spring 2007?
Chris took part in the Wales and the West heat held at Dyffryn Gardens in September 2006.

The theme of the category was ‘The Land Of My Fathers’. Chris used her design skill to create a cake which interpreted the words from the song.

The cake includes such touches as a terrace of houses with giant leeks and other vegetables in the back gardens along with a Welsh chapel and of course Welsh sheep all presided over by a benevolent Welsh Dragon. Chris was runner up being very narrowly beaten after a heated discussion involving the head judge!

“Don’t Tell The Bride”

This cake is to appear on the new BBC 3 program to be shown November 2007.

The program will involve the Groom choosing every detail of his wedding from Venue to Wedding cake and even the Wedding dress!

Chris created this spectacular 4 tier cake from different cake types along with a mini cake complete with caricatures of the happy couple and their beloved dog! The caricatures were created from photos of the couple, their outfits and of course the dog!

  Caricatures.

Why not have your own caricatures created? They can be kept and become a unique personal memento of your special day. Caricatures can be made standing, seated on mini cakes and in various sizes to fit in with your wedding style.

Contact Chris to arrange the creation of your caricatures and don’t forget you can even include your pets and children!
