Double Hapiness Cupcake Wedding Cake
These cup cakes were made for Connie and John’s wedding on June 11th.
They were three flavours, lemon, chocolate and ginger along with the top
cutting cake which was vanilla. The cakes each had a slightly different design
and included the couple’s initials, blossoms and spots in a variety of pale pastel
shades to create a delicate display. Using different cake papers and wraps to
distinguish the flavours also added to the variety of cakes on display creating
an ‘oh which one shall I choose?’ reaction from the guests.
Hand painted to the top tier was the Chinese symbol ‘Double Happiness’ a
special request from the bride and groom.
As always it was a pleasure to receive the following message:
“A few weeks have passed since our wedding last month, how time flies! We just wanted to say thank you very much to you for making the cupcake display for us. The cakes were lovely and the display was excellent. Thanks again and best regards, John and Connie.”
