Blossoms Wedding Cake
Kelly wanted to have a wedding cake that was really unique and so
following our initial discussions some of which had to be kept secret from the
Nathan I designed this 3 tier hand painted wedding cake for her. Having sampled various flavours Nathan and Kelly
chose a combination of carrot cake and vanilla sponge. The design was based on
a sample of fabric from her wedding dress (hence the secrets!) and included
hand painted flowers and foliage with delicate sugar blossoms tumbling from the
top tier. The wedding reception took place at the park hotel and the colours
blended beautifully with the décor.
Hand painted cakes always have a special wow factor and the email I
received proves this to be true:
“Nathan and I wanted to thank you so much for our beautiful cake, It truly was a work of art.... it was a shame to cut into it! Everyone had a slice and it had plenty of compliments. Thanks again, Kelly and Nathan.”
