2012 A Boom Year for Iced Magic’s Wedding Cakes
With the Wedding season still not at its peak I am already busy creating my fabulous wedding cakes for many happy couples. Many of my clients book me to create their dream cake over a year in advance to ensure they are able to have one of my cakes. I do still have spaces for this year, though they are going fast. As it is me alone who creates all Iced Magic cakes there are only a certain number I can do in a week. I now have four lovely ovens, but still only one pair of hands! I hate having to turn anyone away but will never take on more than I know that I can comfortably complete in any one week. I pride myself on the personal service that I give and always allow time for those little extra touches that make a wedding cake from Iced Magic so special.
My castles are continuing to be as popular as ever and my mixed cupcakes are always a hit with their delicate varied designs, sizes and flavours all creating that ‘which one shall I choose?’ feeling. I am really enjoying the opportunity to see some fabulous gowns so that I can copy details of lacework etc onto the wedding cakes. This is a lovely way of making my neutral, elegant lace effect wedding cakes really personal. My other love is hand painting on cakes which I am lucky enough to be doing on a number of my designs this year. Hand painting is truly unique to each cake and allows for some lovely really subtle effects to be created.
I am attending a number of wedding shows during the year and as always I will have a large selection of cakes for you to see and yummy cake samples to try too. Looking forward to meeting any of you who have a wedding planned for this year.....don’t leave it too late not many spaces left and filling up fast for 2013.
